As always, it was wonderful, no I mean, BUBBLY to see everyone sans Kirsten at our book club meeting on Tuesday night! Hope you all had as good a time as I, albeit with Logan's background noise! Even though we had 3 members who did not finish the book, Uglies by Scott Westerfield, we managed to have a lively discussion about the fate of our pretty obesessed mankind anyway! Vic was actually the first in the group to finish it! Kudos to her! And, thanks for the spagbol munchies and mojitos ladies! They were very yummy!
We all missed you Kirsty and hope you can make the next meeting which I think we can tentatively schedule for the first week of April. That gives us all plenty of time to read our next choice, Atonement by Ian McEwan.
